Pageantry Makeup.

Good morning dolls.Today il share some tips about pageantry makeup. Because of my experience of contesting for being a beauty queen,i have been able to gather great tips for contestants to slay their makeup on the day of her pageant event. All contestants are expected to look glamorous and beautiful,most beauty pageants contestants will be asked to display their beauty on different outfits, and ofcourse different makeup looks.Most pageants routines are : 1.casual outfit /Introduction: casual outfit makeup does not require loud eyeshadow colours nor glitters.Nude make is usually best for introduction. 2.Corporate outfit : This doesnot require much makeup because the contestants are supposed to be dressed corporate like office workers. Its best for the lips to pop(red,pink,purple,wine etc) and eyes subtle with hair packed to the back. 3.Traditional outfit : Its okay for contestants to play with colours.Here creativity comes in,If your contestant is acting like an Igbo princess its best to give her black lipstick and also draw on her body. For yoruba outfits its best to use loud and poping eyes. Donot use glitters. 4.Dinner gown: Here is allowed to use glitters because the contestants are expected to look glamorous but also with a subtle makeup. 5.Ensure you change lipsticks for all outfits. Because lipsticks play a very important role in changing looks. 6. Try to be punctual to avoid rush work and tension.Its good to be calm and settled while doing pageantry makeup. I handled makeup for Miss Insurance organized by Chattered Insurance Institute of Nigeria(CIIN) . I was really glad that my client Queen Precious emerged the winner of the Pageant. Among other contestants her makeup stood out and she had different makeup looks to offer the audience.
